Tell me more about the "save my username on this computer" checkbox.
By checking that box, your username will be stored in a "cookie" on your computer. A cookie is a small piece of information that websites store on your computer to refer to when you revisit that site. When you come back to the Customer Service site, we look to see if your DFS Username is stored on your computer. If it is, we fill in the DFS Username field for you. For security reasons, you must supply the password each time you login.

Why am I unable to get a payoff or buyout quote for my account?
You will not be able to get a payoff or buyout quote online if your lease account is more than 31 days past due, or your loan account is more than 160 days past due. Please bring your account current to resolve this issue, or if you are interested paying your account in full today, please call 877-663-3355 to request a final quote on your contract.

I tried to recover my password using the account verification form, but I'm told that my account is locked. Why?
It's possible that another user has mistakenly entered your account number while trying to create a profile or recover their own password. Since they don't have the proper verification information for that account, they weren't able to, but for your protection, the account was locked. For more information, see the Common Login Problems FAQ or Contact DFS Customer Service to unlock the account.

I tried to view the details of one of my accounts, and all I saw was a message that I needed to email Customer Service. What happened?
You can only get detailed account information if your lease or loan account is less than 161 days past due. Please bring your account current to gain full access to your account online.
