I can't seem to remember my username or password. Can you remind me what they are? Sure! Go to the password recovery page. If you can still get email at the email address you entered when you registered your Web Self Service profile, enter it on that form and we'll send you an email message with your username and password.
I checked the box that says "Save my username on this computer." But I have to reenter my username each time I come back to login. Why? A few things could cause this. One is that your browser is not accepting "cookies." A cookie is a small piece of information that websites store on your computer to refer to when you revisit that site. If you check the "Save my username on this computer" box on the login screen, we save the username in a cookie on your computer after you successfully login. If your browser doesn't accept cookies we can't save this information.
How can I check that my browser is accepting cookies? In Internet Explorer, go to Tools | Internet Options, click on the Security tab, click on the Internet icon, and then the Custom Level... button. Scroll down to the Cookies section, and make sure that both types are enabled. In Netscape, go to Edit | Preferences, and select Advanced. In the Cookies section, make sure Accept All Cookies is selected.
I've checked that my browser is accepting cookies, and it still won't save my password. What else am I doing wrong? It's possible that someone else logged into the site with a different username and unselected the "Save my username...." box. Just select the box and login again to save your username. |
